Lucho Dávila, also known as iamtrece, was born in 1988 in Quito, Ecuador. His fascination for the creation of images, beauty and models began at an early age during a family trip to Tokyo, Japan.
Dávila founded and directed two advertising agencies for almost 7 years (he was CEO and Art Director.) During this time he studied Neuro-Linguistic Programming. At the end of 2012 he decided to redirect his career, so he closed his agencies and moved to Madrid, where he studied Strategy and Innovation at the Instituto Europeo di Design, as well as Fashion Photography.
He was selected to participate in a mentoring program with fashion photographer Nick Knight and has been assistant to the renowned photographers of Hunter & Gatti in various campaigns and productions. The Impression, Rolling Stone, Forbes, The British Journal of Photography, Nylon Magazine, Grazia, Nakid Magazine, Neo2, Icon, Hello!, among other relevant media, magazines and brands, have already chosen Lucho Dávila, trusting his deep passion for the creation of images. He has given lectures and workshops in schools and universities around the globe. Dávila’s understanding of brands and his background in advertising allow him to communicate the client’s vision in a set of still or moving.
He also collaborates with the Spanish NGO Terrachidia, where he voluntarily works as Art Director of media and graphic content, to support the work of the NGO in the M’hamid Oasis in the Sahara desert.
He has just presented together with Vein Magazine his editorial “Plastic is not fantastic” where he makes us think about the excessive consumption of plastic.
